Job Description

Sea Hawk is seeking a Mobile Service Crew.

As part of the Mobile Service Crew, you will be working with another Technician. You will be onsite at customer locations across Alberta as required, performing pump tests and truck inspections. You will also be maintaining and repairing trucks, pumps, and other firefighting equipment and apparatus as required in the Sea Hawk shop in Red Deer, AB You will report to the AB Service Manager and work with other technicians.

 

Job Requirements

Abilities, Attitudes & Behaviors must include:

● Execute basic and advanced repairs on trucks, pumps, and other firefighting equipment and apparatuses

● Ability to work in tight and confined spaces

● Ability to work as a team player or alone

● Self-motivated and takes initiative

● Critical thinking and the ability to work under pressure

● Ability to grow in your learning and understanding while accepting constructive criticism

● Willing to adhere to the values, code of conduct, and confidentiality (where necessary) of the organization.

 

Required or ability to obtain:

● Beneficial skills include: knowledge about the fire service, experience in the customer service industry, experience in automotive or heavy-duty service industry.

● Class 3 license or higher with Air Brake “Q” Endorsement is an asset and will be required to obtain within 12 months of hiring.

● Basic mechanic tools or purchase tools as required.
